About The Conference

The second edition of the “Advanced Imaging in Life Sciences Conference” welcomes researchers from the life sciences. This workshop is tailored for those who are involved in the development, application, or are in need of light microscopy imaging and analysis techniques to address biological questions both in vitro and in vivo. The event will feature invited delivered by distinguished experts who are at the forefront of developing  and utilizing advanced imaging and analysis tools to tackle fundamental and translational issues in biology. Key topics include endo-lysosomal cell biology, biomimetic systems, cytoskeletal networks, molecular interactions, immune system and the biology of developmental disorders and cancer.

Beyond the invited lectures, the workshop offers early career scientists the chance to showcase their research through poster presentations and selected oral presentations. Additionally, attendees can attend  hands-on lab demonstrations on campus, a panel on grant writing, presentations by sponsors, software tutorials, and guided tours of Koç University’s cutting-edge imaging facilities. The agenda is further enriched by coffee breaks and panels, designed to facilitate networking and interaction among participants. This comprehensive program aims to foster collaboration, knowledge exchange, and the advancement of imaging techniques in the life sciences.
